Charles Benjamin Zerbe, Jr.

Charles Benjamin Zerbe, 77, of Chalfont Pa. passed away suddenly on Wednesday September 15, 2021, at Doylestown Hospital, peacefully with his family by his side.

He was the beloved husband of Christine B. (Novak) Zerbe.

Born December 6, 1943 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Charles B. and Leona E. (Herman) Zerbe.

He attended Northeast High School in Philadelphia, PA and also took Trade Preparatory with Carpentry as his prime interest. On February 1, 1969 he married Christine B. (Novak) Zerbe, sharing 52 years of life together.

He was a builder in the construction Industry and in 1973 he started his own business, C.B. Zerbe Builders. He was a dedicated husband and family man.  He was a man that mastered all trades from construction to mechanical.  His hobbies were boating, water skiing, snowmobiling and relaxing on the beach.

He was a member of Pleasantville United Church of Christ in Chalfont since 1978.

Along with his wife, Christine, Charles is survived by three children, Clinton Benjamin Zerbe (Audrey), Chad Benjamin Zerbe (Teresa), and Charlene B. Zerbe; seven grandchildren, Melanie, Lisa, Ashley, Chad Jr., Tyler, Joshua, and Ella; and many loved cousins.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Doreen A. Steele.

His family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 am until his Memorial Service at 11:00 am on November 27, 2021 at the Pleasantville United Church of Christ, 3424 Limekiln Pike, Chalfont, PA 18914.   His interment will be held privately at a later date.
