Rita Marie Fisher (Allen)

Rita Marie Fisher of Churchville died unexpectedly at her home on Monday, August 16, 2021. She was 57.

Rita was the loving wife of Robert A. Fisher Jr. and together they had shared over 16 years of life, love, marriage, and family.

Born in Levittown, she was the daughter of Teresa Baroli Allen and the late John Allen and sister of the late Theresa Poore.

Rita graduated from Delhaas High School and went on to attend Delaware Valley College. She led a long career in marketing within the insurance industry, working most of her career for RPM Insurance.

To say that Rita loved the outdoors would be a big understatement. She loved nothing more than to be surrounded by nature; whether that be her meticulously kept gardens or travelling all over Pennsylvania to hike the countless parks throughout the state. Rita was also an avid music lover and enjoyed attending MusikFest as well as the Bucks County Blues Festival each year. Rita's love of the great outdoors didn't require more than a nice day and a long drive so she could absorb all that mother nature had to offer with a big smile on her face.

The most important thing to Rita was her family and she treasured every moment she spent with them. She will be dearly missed by many and continue to live on in their hearts and thoughts.

In addition to her husband and her mother, Rita leaves behind her son, Graham Huff of Philadelphia and step-son, Cole Fisher of Churchville. She is also survived by her siblings, Patrick Allen and his wife, Tammy, John Allen and his wife, Eve, Michael Allen, and his wife, Christine, Tim Allen and his wife, Linda, Judy Long and her husband Jerry, Cathy Arbuckle and her husband, David, and Mary Swinnock and her husband Troy.

Rita’s life will be remembered and celebrated amongst nature at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to benefit cancer research to the organization of the donor’s choice.
