Anthony J. D'Angelo

Anthony D’Angelo, Loving husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, and friend passed away on July 20, 2021, just two days before his 85th birthday. 

Tony was predeceased by his first wife, Ruth Hibberd D’Angelo, leaving him to raise four teenagers. 

Formally from Fox Chase, Willow Grove, and Lake Placid, FL, Tony is survived by his wife of 26 years, Pat Henning D’Angelo; his children, Anthony D’Angelo and his wife, Andrea of Chalfont, Ruth D’Angelo and her husband, Paul Ploof of Essex Junction, VT, John D’Angelo and his wife, Theresa, of Collegeville, and Jackie D’Angelo and her husband, Patrick Rooney, of Holland.  He also leaves behind his step-sons, William Corson and his wife, Lisa and Matthew Corson and his wife, Sevrie; and 16 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.  He was also the beloved brother of Assunta Parker (Phil), Joseph D’Angelo (Helen) and Robert D’Angelo (Debra). He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends

Tony served in the United States Army before beginning a career in education teaching English at Cardinal Dougherty High School.  He moved on to Pierce Junior College where he installed the Paralegal Program and headed the Liberal Arts Department.  He eventually moved on to Delaware Valley Community College where he retired as a Dean. 

Tony enjoyed travel, especially river boat cruises and bus trips in Europe, visiting Russia, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, the Amalfi Coast, England and France.  For years, the month of July was spent vacationing in New Harbor, Maine. 

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 10:00 AM until his Memorial Service at 11:30 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954.  His interment will be private. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the charity of one’s choosing.
