Charles A. Mangle

Charles A. Mangle of Doylestown, PA, died at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, July 13, 2021.  He was 92.

Born in Enola, PA, Charles was the husband of Phyllis J. Elsea Mangle and the son of the late Charles and Edna Groff Mangle.

In addition to his wife Phyllis, Charles is survived by his children: David Mangle and his wife Cathi of Easton, Kathleen Bonnett and her husband William of Doylestown, and Steven Mangle and his life partner Marianne Selleck of Virginia Beach.  He is also survived by his sister-in-law Irene Mangle, sister-in-law Gail Elsea, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Charles was an electrical engineer, a graduate of Lehigh University, a Military Veteran, a member of the Doylestown Presbyterian Church, a member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association, a youth sports coach & a long-time fundraiser for Muscular Dystrophy.

His family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, August 14, 2021 from 10:00 - 10:45 AM in the Celtic Room at Doylestown Presbyterian Church, 127 East Court Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 and then to his Memorial Service at 11:00 AM in the main church.  His interment will be held privately at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, Charles’ family asks that you pay it forward by performing a random act of kindness.
