Joseph P. Conville

Joseph P. Conville, of Jamison, passed away on July 17, 2021.  He was 66 years old.  Joe was the beloved husband of 37 years to Trudy (Kueny) Conville.  Born in Philadelphia, he was the loving son of Joseph and Jane Conville Sr.

Joe attended La Salle University where he became a loyal alumnus and basketball season ticket holder. Avid Philadelphia sports fan and foodie, Joe savored Tony Luke’s pork sandwiches and Stock’s pound cake. However, Joe found the most joy in attending his children’s meets and games, both locally and nationwide. Oftentimes Joe was the only away team parent to attend competitions near and far. Joe enjoyed trying his luck at the race track and the casinos. He spent his summers down the Jersey Shore, toes in the sand and magic drink in his hand. Cherished time with family and friends, whether at a sporting event, social gathering, or just around the kitchen table.

In addition to his wife, Trudy, Joe is survived his son Joe Conville and his wife, Heather; by his daughters Mary Pat and Kate Conville; by his loving grandchildren, Jaxson and Gracie; by his brothers and their spouses, Jim (Cara) and Pat (Mary); by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mart (Denise) Kueny; and by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Joe’s family on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church, 1410 Almshouse Road, Jamison. A Memorial Mass will take place, also at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church, on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 11:30 AM, where friends and relatives will be received from 10:30 AM until the time of the Mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations made in his memory to DeSales University, La Salle University, and the Little Sister of the Poor by clicking the “Charities” button above, are appreciated.
