Charles Richard Bilger IV "Rick"

Charles Richard Bilger IV “Rick” went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 5, 2021.  He was 54.

Born in Ayer, MA Rick was the beloved son of the late Charles R. Bilger III and the late Bonnie Bess Love Bole and the step son of James Bole.

Rick was a longtime Fire Fighter in Upper Makefield and with his experience and love for fighting fires and saving people he was an instructor at Fire Fighter School in Milford, PA.  He enjoyed completing brain teasing puzzles, fishing with family friends, and time spent at the family cabin in Marshalls Creek, PA.  Rick will be greatly missed as a loving and devoted father, grandfather, brother, step son, and friend.

In addition to his step-father, Rick is survived by his loving and devoted children; Meghan Bilger and Christopher Bilger (fiancée Victoria).  He is also survived by his granddaughter Lyric, his brothers: David Bilger (Jennifer), Edward Bilger (Tannis), Patrick Bilger, and Devon Bole and his former wife and best friend Denise Leedom.

Rick’s family will receive family and friends on Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 11:00 AM until his Memorial Service at 12 Noon in Harriman United Methodist Church, 1700 Wilson Avenue Bristol, PA 19007.  His interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to ASPCA, 424 E. 92nd Street New York, NY 10128.
