Helen M. Lombardo (Dorgan)

Helen Marie Dorgan Lombardo, age 81, died Friday, July 2, 2021, surrounded by her loving family, at her home in Chalfont.

Born August 13, 1939, in Fairview, NJ, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Blum Dorgan, and the widow of the late Michael O. Lombardo, to whom she was married 54 years up until his passing in 2014.

Helen loved her flower gardens, long walks with friends and watching the hummingbirds and birds that would visit her feeders. She was also known for her amazing cooking.

Helen is survived by: sons Joseph J. Lombardo, Michael S. Lombardo, and Daniel V. Lombardo, and his wife Monica L. Lombardo. Her sisters-in-law Betty Dorgan and Joanne Dimauro and her husband Tony Dimauro. In addition to her parents and husband, Helen is preceded in death by: brother John Dorgan, and sister-in-law Nancy Staino.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 9, 2021, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 321 W Butler Avenue, Chalfont, PA 18914, with a visitation preceding from 10:00 AM until the time of mass. Interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Helen’s honor to the Disabled American Veterans - Philadelphia National Service Office, at 5000 Wissahickon Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19144.
