Elizabeth A. Krieger (Deno)

Elizabeth A. Krieger of Warrington died peacefully and surrounded by her family on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne.  She was 89. 

Elizabeth was the loving wife of the late Walter F. Krieger until his death in 2009. 

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Roibert and Elizabeth Hascher Deno. 

A graduate of Frankford High School, Elizabeth went on to work for PSFS Bank and later for Redemption Episcopal Pre-School in Southampton.  She was also an active member of Redemption having helped with their Meals for Friends program and was also very involved with various other fundraising projects with the church. 

Elizabeth was devoted to her friends and family and will be dearly missed by all those she leaves behind. 

Surviving are her children, Sharon Sharkey and her husband, Leo, of New Hope and David Krieger of Bensalem; her grandchildren, Megan, John, Heather, and Kaitlyn; her siblings, Robert Deno of Southampton and Marilyn Whitekettle and her husband, Kurt, of Warrington; and her nieces and nephews, Pat Robinson, Amanda Hansell, Greg Whitekettle, Laura Whitekettle, and the late Daniel Whitekettle. 

Relatives and friends are invited to gather with her family on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 12:00 PM until a brief Prayer Service at 12:30 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954.  Her interment will follow privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Redemption Episcopal Church, 1101 Second Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
