Emelia C. "Amy" Lahoda (Hayman)

Emelia C. Lahoda, known affectionately as “Amy,” of Langhorne died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, May 13, 2021.  She was 64.

Amy was the ever-faithful wife of Joseph G. Lahoda, MD and together they shared 40 years of marriage, love, family, and life’s adventures.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the beloved daughter of the late H. Blake Hayman, MD and Emelia C. Hayman of Doylestown, PA.

Amy grew up in New Hope, PA and attended Villa Victoria Academy. She graduated from La Salle University where she earned a degree in Finance and later pursued a Master’s in Marketing from George Washington University.

While she worked as a real estate investor and developer, her true love in life was spending time with family and friends. Hosting holiday gatherings, especially Christmas, she always brought joy to those around her. She was an avid reader, dedicated gardener, and skilled chef.

In addition to her husband and her mother, Amy is survived by her children, Brittany N. Lahoda, DMD and her husband, David A. Janerich, DO of Dallas, PA, Ashley C. Lahoda of Langhorne, PA, and Lindsay A. Lahoda, PA-C and her husband Patrick S. Shank of East Norriton, PA; her siblings, Denise Hayman of Murphy, NC, Yvonne Kraeher of Newtown, PA and H. Blake Hayman II of Langhorne, PA.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday, May 21, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Joseph A.
