Arlene M Dunleavy (DiVirgilio)

Arlene M Dunleavy died Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Abington Hospital-Jefferson Health in Abington, PA. She was 79 years old.

Born and raised in the Germantown Section of Philadelphia, Arlene was the daughter of the late Luigi and Jenny DiVirgilio. She was the sister of the late Ronald DiVirgilio and the late Thelma DeLaurentis.

Arlene was an outgoing and supportive mother who always focused on others.  She could always be found surrounded by food and the ladies of the Madeline family – Jenny and Nellie’s tribe stuck together and it included friends that became family.  She adored the family animals including her beloved Barney, Maggie, Jake, Teddy and Salsa. 

Arlene is survived by her loving children, Tom Dunleavy and his wife Lisa, and Denise Witter and her husband Bill and her cherished grandchildren, Shane, Rory, Emily and Abby.

Funeral Services will be held privately.
