Kathleen T. Mulderrig-Jones

Kathleen Theresa Mulderrig-Jones, age 61, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021, at her home in Forest Grove, PA.

Born on November 20, 1959, in West Islip, NY, she was the daughter of the late John Walter and Margaret Theresa Healy Mulderrig.

Kathleen always showed great kindness, generosity, and compassion toward others. She was employed in the field of Social Services for many years, working in shelters, women’s advocacy, and as a caregiver; she found it very gratifying to know that her work was useful.

She loved her family and, most of all; she loved the children, her nieces, nephews and their children. She often had a devilish look in her eyes and found humor in many situations. She laughed very easily and heartily; her laugh will surely be missed.

Kathleen had a great love of art and took pride in displaying several very significant pieces in her home, including Van Gogh. She was also an animal lover, with a great fondness for dogs. Kathleen had loyal and devoted friends; many of them part of a group who provided love and support for each other.

Kathleen is survived by her husband, Martin Jones, brother John and his wife Mary Ellen, sister Susan and her husband Robert, sister Patricia, brother Michael, brother Terence and his wife Pamela, sister Bridgette, brother Kevin and his wife Paula, 16 nieces and nephews, and 11 great nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at St. Bede the Venerable Catholic Church, 1071 Holland Rd, Holland, PA, with a calling hour beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private and at the discretion of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kathleen’s name to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
