Margretta Neitheimer (Phillips)

Margretta P. Neitheimer (née Phillips), age 77 years old, passed away on May 4, 2021.

Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, Margretta was the beloved daughter of the late Daniel and the late Margaret (Hiznay) Phillips. She was raised in Plymouth, PA and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1962. A graduate of Drexel University, Greta was a dedicated teacher in Philadelphia for 35 plus years.

She was an avid reader throughout her life, always having a book within reach and many more in waiting. Her travels with friends and family took her around the world both near and far. Her love of cooking, volunteering at the library, gardening, all types of dogs, remaining physically active, attending theater shows, and playing cards filled her spare time.  Billy Joel and Elton John sent her to many concerts with stories to tell.  She was a devoted and supportive mother to three daughters, a proud and present grandmother, and caring friend.

Margretta is survived by her loving children, Amy Paglione and her husband, Adam, of Lumberton, NJ; Katie Bernstein and her husband, Greg, of Mechanicsburg, PA; and Jillian Neitheimer and her fiancé, Nick Caracappa, of Flemington, NJ; by her sister, MaryBeth Search and her husband, Robin, of Schickshinny, PA; and by her four grandchildren, Owen, Colin, Joshua, and Audrey.  She is also survived by loved ones Rebecca Neitheimer; and by Jacquelynn Oline and her husband, Joe; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on the family on Monday, May 10, 2021 from 9:30 AM until her Memorial Service at 11:00 AM, Joseph A Fluehr, III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road, Richboro, PA. Interment will be private and at a later date.  A luncheon following her Memorial Service is to be held at 12:30 PM, Maggio's Restaurant, 400 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA.
