Offering of gratitude from the Patton Family

Charles R. Patton, of North Wales, entered into life everlasting on Friday, April 30 while at home with his family after a brief battle with end-stage kidney disease caused by Multiple Myeloma. Julianne, Michael, and Daniel wanted to take this opportunity to thank all those who assisted Charles during his disease process and the caregivers who assisted us in keeping him at home and comfortable throughout his final weeks. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the Nurses and Aides from Holisticare Hospice Services for assisting us with in-home hospice during his final days. Fresenius Kidney Care/Liberty Dialysis of Doylestown for the dialysis treatment which allowed him to be with us just a little longer. In addition, we would like to thank the Physicians, Nurses, and staff of Alliance Cancer Specialists (Chalfont) and Nephrology Hypertension Specialists of Doylestown; the Physicians, Nurses, and staff of the Doylestown Hospital Emergency Department, Operating Room, Anesthesia, and Medical-Surgical Unit for their patient care during his visits. Thank you to his parish—Mary Mother of the Redeemer (North Wales) and Fr. Bill—for the venue for his funeral celebration. A heartfelt thank you to the Reverend Eugene Ritz (Diocesan Chancellor of Allentown), who considered Charlie an “adopted uncle,” for administering the Sacrament of the Sick to him at home, and the profound sermon during the funeral celebration at MMR. Special mention to Clinton Bonelli (Funeral Director) and the staff of Fluehr Funeral Home (New Britain/ Richboro) for a flawless execution of Charles’ final requests, from his death until his Inurnment. Thank you to the Washington Crossing National Cemetery Director and staff for the wonderful military Committal Ceremony on Memorial Day weekend despite the winter weather. Finally, thanks to his extended family and friends for the Mass cards, Sympathy cards, and the many kind words about Charles and offering support during this difficult time.
