Ronald McIntire

Ronald W. McIntire of Richboro died peacefully on Thursday, April 29, 2021 after living courageously with cancer for the past seven years. He was 69 years old.

Ronald was the beloved husband of 34 years to Eileen Karaim McIntire.

Born in Tallahassee, FL, he was the son of the late Enos and Mildred Wood McIntire.

Ron worked for United Electric Supply, previously Mohawk Electric Supply, as a truck driver for 27 years. Prior to that, he worked for U.S. Steel Corporation in Fairless Hills for 17 years. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed times spent fishing in lakes, creeks and at the beach in Stone Harbor or Ocean City, NJ. He loved to garden. Ron enjoyed the peace and solace that his outdoor pond and fish would bring to him and others. He was the first person to volunteer when family, friends or neighbors needed help around their houses. Above all, Ron cherished the time he spent with his family creating memories that will stay with them forever. Ron will be greatly missed, but eternally loved by everyone who had the pleasure to have been in his life.

In addition to his beloved wife Eileen, Ronald is survived by his loving and devoted children; Ron and his wife Bridget of Yardley and Kathleen Petsis and her husband Alexander of Newtown.  He is also survived by his grandson Declan, his brother John McIntire and his wife Debbie of Yardley, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing on Tuesday, May 4th from 10:00 am until his Funeral Mass 12 Noon at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Road (at Tanyard Rd) Richboro, PA 18954.  His interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem.
