Paul Benyovszky

On April 16, 2021, Paul Benyovszky of Doylestown, PA entered into rest at the age of 95. He was the loving husband of Katherine, who he was married to for 65 years.

Paul was born in 1926 in Budapest, Hungary.  In 1956, he married his wife Katherine and immigrated to the United States.  Paul spent his career as an Electrical Engineer, working for various companies including IBM, Briggs and Stratton, and Thomas & Betts in a variety of technical and management roles before starting his own consulting firm.  His professional accomplishments include holding numerous patents, being a contributing author to several technical publications, and being a registered Professional Engineer in Indiana, Kentucky, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children – Louise, Sophia, Paul, and Chris (Melody).  He loved his eight grandchildren Laszlo, Alex (Xenia), Paul, Christian (Lindsay), Adrienne, Nick, Chris (Stephanie), and Audrey, as well as his great grandchildren Ivan and Harlee.

While it was well known that Paul could build or fix anything, he is best remembered for the love of his family.  He was our teacher and exemplified everything a human being could be.  He was the love in our lives, and Paul will be sorely missed.  He touched all of our lives in a way we will always remember.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 10:00 AM until his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of MT. Carmel Church, 235 E. State St., Doylestown, PA 18901.  His interment will follow in the Cemetery at The National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa, Doylestown.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
