John R. "Jack" Rummler, Jr.

John R. “Jack” Rummler, Jr. died peacefully on Tuesday April 6, at his home in Churchville. He was 83. Born in Philadelphia, he was the beloved husband of 59 years to Grace A. Evans Rummler, son of the late John R. Sr., and Elsie Egloff Rummler.

Jack was a graduate of Olney High School, and a proud Veteran of the United States Navy, serving on the USS Haynsworth. After his time in the Navy, Jack joined Entenmanns Foods, where he was a Sales Manager working for them for close to 30 years, retiring in 2000. Jack was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church for over….years.  A man of many talents, he enjoyed going to the Jersey Shore, taking him back to his youth as a Life guard in Ship Bottom, NJ. Boating and being on water, especially crabbing and bringing in the “Big Ones”. Around his home you would find Jack tending to his Koi Pond or working in his garden. He was a life-long Eagles fan and was looking forward to the next season. He will be sadly missed for his firm handshake and twinkle in his eye. By all that came to know and love him especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his beloved wife Jack is survived by his children and their spouses; Lisa A. Decker and her husband Jim, David C. Rummler and his wife Angela and Kristine M. Rummler, 1 sister Nancy Kehler and her husband J. David. He was the devoted grandfather of Daniel, Jacquelyn and Elizabeth Decker, Sarah and Lauren Rummler and Jacob and Leah Moffitt. He was predeceased by his sister, Doris Luff, many years ago. 

Relatives and friends are invited to greet his family on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 11:45 am until his Funeral Mass 12:45 pm at St. Vincent de Paul Church 654 Hatboro Rd. Richboro. Interment with Military honors will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
