Mabel Crisp (Gaffney)

Mabel Crisp, 94, of Columbus, NJ died peacefully on March 17, 2021 surrounded by her beloved husband of 72 years Jack and her loving family.

Born in Philadelphia, Mabel was the daughter of the late Edward Gaffney and Mabel (nee Grier). She was the devoted mother of Bradley Crisp, Cynthia Mayne (John Thompson), and the late Gary Crisp. Dear sister of the late Edward (Edwina) Gaffney and Janet (Bill) Partington. Beloved mother-in-law of Mona Crisp (Vic) Gallo.

She is remembered with love by her beloved grandchildren Nicole Crisp, Justin (Lauren) Crisp, Kristopher Mayne (Sam Moscherosch), Ashley Sayko and her dear great granddaughter Makayla Crisp. She was also the loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Mabel was always the life of the party and could brighten up a room with her beautiful smile. She was a kind, funny, positive and strong woman. Her interests included spending time with family and friends, going to the movies, traveling, visiting the beach, attending Broadway shows, reading, shopping at Talbots, listening to music and going out to her favorite restaurants.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, April 15, 2021 beginning at 11:30 am followed by a Memorial Service at 12:30 pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954.  Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mabel’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 1617 JFK Boulevard, Suite 700, Philadelphia, PA  19103.
