Dennis M. Bandish
Dennis M. Bandish of Quakertown died Friday, March 12, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem.
Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late Edward and Casmira Koper Bandish and brother of the late David J. Bandish.
Dennis graduated from Fr. Judge High School and went on to earn his Bachelor’s in Accounting from Penn State Smeal College of Business. He led a long career in finance and accounting. He was a Certified Public Accountant having held positions with Coopers & Lybrand, American Reliance Insurance Company and Michigan Millers Insurance in Lansing, MI. He served as SVP/Chief Financial Officer before taking disability leave, retiring, and then returning home to Pennsylvania to be closer to his family.
Dennis enjoyed spending time with his family, watching Penn State Football and reading. Over the years he enjoyed riding his Harley, golfing, and playing the guitar. He was a self-proclaimed history buff and followed politics closely. He was well travelled and throughout his career had the opportunity to meet many people of notoriety. He will be greatly missed.
Dennis is survived by his children, D. Michael Bandish II of Texas, Ashley E. Watsko and her husband, Paul of Conshohocken, Sara E. Nugent and her husband, Patrick, of California, and Kelly A. Bandish and Katelyn Bandish of Doylestown.
He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Hunter, Meredith, and Blake; his dearest friends Jackie Bandish-O’Hara and her husband, John of Doylestown, and his sister-in-law, Christina Bandish.
Services and interment will be held privately at the convenience of Dennis’ family.
