Joseph Peter Aiello Jr.

Joseph Peter Aiello Jr. of Holland passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at his residence. He was 94.

Joseph was the beloved husband of the late Helen Mullen Aiello.

Born in Philadelphia, Joseph was the son of the late Joseph P. Sr. and Agnes Sanders Aiello.

Joseph was a former resident of Philadelphia before moving to Holland 60 years ago. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy serving during most of the European Theater during World War II. In his leisure time, he enjoyed traveling with his late wife Helen throughout Europe, Ireland, China and Japan and also used the Amtrak pass to visit many destinations throughout the United States. Joseph was a distinguished Tool and Die Maker who had worked for many years with the Laneko Company in Fort Washington until his retirement. He will be deeply missed by his family and by all who came to know him.

Joseph is survived by his children; Joseph Aiello and his wife Maureen of Glassboro, New Jersey and Michael Aiello and his wife Geraldine of Holland. He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 10:00am until his Funeral Mass 11:00am in St. Andrew Catholic Church, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940. Joseph’s interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery in Newtown.
