Joseph F. Bosak
Joseph F. Bosak of Upper Black Eddy died peacefully and surrounded by his family at his home on February 15th, 2021. He was 44.
Joe was the husband of Jacqueline Young and together they shared over four wonderful years of love, family, and life’s adventures.
Born in Langhorne and raised in Penns Park, Joe was the son of Francis and Louise Bosak of Penns Park. In addition to his wife and his parents, Joe is survived by his children, Nicholas, Charlotte, and Harper, all of Upper Black Eddy; and his sisters, Lisa Tapper and Michelle Tanner (Jeremy).
Joe was frequently described as funny, dedicated, supportive, loving, driven and reliable. He had an infectious personality and was a friend to every person he met. He was an avid racer and dedicated much of his life to the track. When he was not able to ride, he could always be found helping to maintain the course or cheering from the sidelines. Joe worked as a heavy equipment mechanic and enjoyed taking on new projects in the garage. He was always working on someone’s bike, car, atv, generator. (You name it, he would help out.) Joe was a true team player in every sense. In fact, he preached “Teamwork makes the dream work” in his own home. Joe was a Wonderful husband and father. He was dedicated to providing a loving and stable home for his family. He frequently exclaimed that his greatest accomplishment was getting married and becoming a father; and although his experience with both was cut short, he loved every moment of each experience.
Although he was not in pain, his final days were cumbersome for Joe. Despite the physical and mental challenges he faced, he made sure to honor his daughter, Harper, with his final words being “Okay Goodnight” as she laid down for a nap.
Joe touched the lives of everyone he encountered with his warm smile, willingness to help and the occasional indecorous joke. His physical presence will be thoroughly missed but the memories he has left behind will outlast 10 lifetimes.
Joe's Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 6:30 PM at Maggio's Ballroom, 400 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966 followed by a reception for family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joe’s memory to his beloved racing family District 6 600 Colonial View Road Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
