William A. Brady

William A. Brady died suddenly at Doylestown Hospital on Wednesday, January 20, 2021.  He was 78.

Born in Philadelphia, Bill was the beloved husband of the late Carolyn Butz Brady and the son of the late Vincent W. and Frances T. Brzeczek Brady.

Bill was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force. After his enlistment he went on to work for the Internal Revenue Service. He later joined the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms where he worked as an Agent until he retired in 1996.  Since his retirement Bill has enjoyed traveling, continued service to his church and community and has surrounded himself with family and friends.  Bill was a longtime active parishioner at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Hilltown.  There he served as an usher, was very involved in the various church events and was also a member of the senior group.  Bill was also an active Knight of Columbus with the parish Council #9736.  Bill will be greatly missed, but eternally remembered by everyone who had the pleasure to have been in his life and been loved by him.

Bill is survived by his loving and devoted daughters: Colleen B. Nicholson and her husband Mark of Chalfont and Karen F. Graham and her husband Christian of Cary, NC.  He is also survived by his two dear and loving granddaughters: Cassidy and Kennedy.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bill’s Memorial Mass, 11:00AM on Saturday, September 18, 2021 in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 100 Broad Street, Hilltown, PA 18927.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, his interment was held privately at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont earlier in the year.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to support NF Research at Children’s Hospital NF Program/Neuro-Oncology, Dr. Fisher.  Please address the envelope to the attention of Gisela Soto, 3615 Civic Center Boulevard 1349.9 ARC Philadelphia, PA 19104 and indicate “NF Research” on the check.
