Daniel Phillip Lennon

Daniel P Lennon of Churchville, Passed away at Jean’s Hospital on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 with his beloved wife Carol at his side. He was 72. 

Born in Abington on May 11, 1948, and raised in Churchville where he lived most of his life, Dan graduated from Council Rock High School, the class of 1966. He worked many years for The Budd Company Rail Car Division in Philadelphia as a Planner and Expeditor before becoming a WRDV radio host and entertainment Disc Jockey.

Dan was the beloved husband of Carol Brown (Lewis), whom he married on July 15, 1988. He and Carol met in Sea Isle City, NJ and spent many of their earlier years vacationing at the Jersey shore and in Ocean City, MD. More recently, they frequently vacationed at their favorite Outer Banks cottage in Southern Shores, NC.

Dan was the son of the late William Robert and Evelyn (Hagele) Lennon. In addition to his wife Carol, he is survived by his two brothers, Robert R. (Diane), Noblesville, IN, and Richard A. (Carol), Southampton, PA, and four nephews and two nieces. He will also be missed by ten grand nephews and nieces. Dan was a very kind and tender-hearted person who loved all living creatures large and small. He also enjoyed old cars and past celebrities like Dean Martin and Ernie Kovacs. Most of all, he loved parties and enjoyed being with, and entertaining people with his great sense of humor.

Memorial service will be held Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 11:30 AM at Playwicki Farm, 2350 Bridgetown Pike, Feasterville, PA  19053.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the MDS foundation (Myelodysplastic syndromes) at4573 South Broad Street; Suite 150 in Yardville, NJ 08620 or to the American Red Cross, at PO Box 37839 in Boone, Iowa 50037-0839 in Dan’s memory.
