Winner R. Delp

Winner R. Delp of Warwick, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday December 30, 2020. He was 75.

Born in Trenton, New Jersey, he was the beloved husband of Genevieve E. “Jean” Bedard Delp for the past 44 years, and son of the late Winner F. and Mary Herd Delp.

Winner was a graduate of Upper Dublin High School, class of 1963, and he attended Drexel University. He started his professional career with the Jade Corp. in Huntingdon Valley, as a tool & die apprentice in 1963. He worked for them for several years before he and his brothers founded The Delp Corporation (TDC) in 1973, which was a precision tool and die company in Warminster. He was President of the company from 1973 to 1997. In 2005 he founded and ran Jade Precision Medical Components (JPMC) in Huntingdon Valley.  Winner retired in March of this year and was looking forward to enjoying time with his grandkids, having cigars with his friends, and being on the Chesapeake with Jean.

Winner was a resident of Warwick for the past 9 years.  He was a very intuitive man, and his creativity was to be admired.  His family came first and foremost, he loved boating and fishing with his grandchildren and friends, eating crabs, and smoking cigars. Getaways to St. Michaels on the Chesapeake and winters in the Florida Keys, what more could anyone ask for? His memory will be an Inspiration to all.

In addition to his wife Jean, he is survived by his children and stepchildren: Wendy A. Hayes and her husband Steven, Winner F. Delp, William R. Delp, Jennifer L. Krepps and her husband Michael, Michael Jackson and his wife Lisa, Brian Jackson, and Doug Jackson and his wife Amy. Winner was the dear brother of John K. Delp and his wife Jane, Robert A. Delp and his wife Sheryl, David D. Delp and his wife Diane, and Mary K. Delp Harwood and her husband Russell. Winner is also survived by his 12 grandchildren.

Winner’s family will receive condolences on Tuesday January 5, 2021 at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, from 1:00pm until his private prayer service at 2:00pm.  His services will be livestreamed on his obituary page at www.fluehr.com.  His interment will be private.   Masks and social distancing are mandatory.  A celebration of Winner’s life will be planned in the future when COVID-19 allows.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to support the care of his son Winner, who suffered a devastating stroke this year.  Donations should be made out to Jennifer Krepps at 104 Edgar Allan Circle, North Wales, PA 19454, who will manage the funds for Winner’s care.
