E. Susan Donnelly (Dougvilla)

E. Susan Donnelly of Yardley, PA was called home to the loving arms of Our Lord on Saturday, December 12 2020 at Neshaminy Manor Nursing Home in Warrington, PA.  She was 94.

Susan was born in Philadelphia and was the loving daughter of the late Joseph and Stella Dougvilla.  She attended Frankford High School.  She met and married the love of her life, Don, who preceded her in death in 1968.  In 1948, they were blessed with their only child, Connie, who they adored all their life.  In 1958, the family moved to Bustleton where they spent the next 20 years.

Susan was full of life, spoke her mind and was an avid reader.  When Connie and Bob Williams were married in 1976, Susan made her home with them until March 2018 when she moved to Neshaminy Manor.  She enjoyed her time there and was lovingly cared for by attentive staff.  Unfortunately, she succumbed to COVID.

Susan is survived by her loving and devoted daughter Connie and her husband Bob Williams, and will be sadly missed by her cherished grandson, Ryan Williams and his wife Krista.  She loved being “Great Mom-Mom” to Jack Ryan and James Christopher Williams.

Susan loved life, her cherished family and her Catholic Faith.

Friends and Family may pay their respects on Friday, December 18, 2020 from 10:30 AM until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM, at St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church, 999 Reading Ave., Yardley, PA 19067.  Social distancing and mask guidelines will be followed.
