Laura J. Gallina (Smith)
Laura Smith Gallina, of Newtown, PA entered Heaven’s Gates on December 12, 2020. After a courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 52 years old.
Laura was the beloved wife to Thomas P. Gallina and together they shared 26 years of Life, Love and Family.
Raised in Spotswood, NJ, she was the daughter of Ann Kramer Smith of Whiting, NJ and the late Robert Smith.
Laura devoted her life to her family and her children. Her son Nicholas, daughters Amanda and Danielle were sources of enormous pride.
Laura moved from NJ to Bucks, Co. PA in 2001. She inherited a love of horses from her father, and in 2011 fulfilled a life-long dream moving to a horse farm in Newtown where she passionately enjoyed her horses, donkeys and dogs.
Laura is also survived by her siblings, Bob Smith, Thomas Smith and his wife Rita, Karen Memelo and her husband Peter, in-laws Nicholas and Rosemary Gallina, brothers-in-law Michael Gallina and his wife Tina, Matthew Gallina and his wife Jennifer, Christopher Gallina and his wife Ginny along with many nieces and nephews.
Laura’s kindness, loyalty and friendship touched many. Despite the pain and heartache that we feel, we have been blessed to have had Laura in our lives. She will be missed by all, but her beauty, and love will shine through her family, friends and especially her beloved children.
For the safety of her family and friends, Laura ‘s services will be held privately at this time. A celebration of her life will be planned at a later date.
