Robert Walters (Hill)

Robert Walters, a life time resident of Cheltenham died peacefully on November 18, 2020 at the Protestant Home of Philadelphia.  He was 92. 

Bob was the loving husband of the late Marion Hill Walters.  

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Harry W. and Bertha Liebau Walters.

Bob was a devoted member of the Lawndale Baptist Church and fought proudly with the United States Army during the Korean War. He spent his career as a carpenter with the Laborers District Council and even built his own home.  He was an avid Trap Shooter and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He will be dearly missed.  

Bob was brother of the late Eleanor Ruth Goodwin, Dorothy W. Fickett, Roy Waltersand, and Harry Walters.  He is also survived by his nieces Janice Lynn Fetterolf (Earle), Linda Joan Zepp (Gary), Karen Smilnak (James) and his nephews Hal Goodwin, Scott (Carol), Roy and Everett Fickett, Roy (Kate) and Paul (Lee Ann) Walters. Services and interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Lawndale Baptist Church, 6433 Lawndale Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19111.
