Obituaries Alice Ella Lesseig (Luff)
Alice Ella (Luff) Lesseig of Sellersville, died peacefully on Monday October 19, 2020 at the home of her daughter Cheryl Brooks, surrounded by her loving and caring family. She was 93.
Born on her family farm in Ivyland, Alice was the beloved wife of 63 years to the late Benjamin F. Lesseig who passed in February of this year. She was the daughter of the late Warren and Carrie Jamison Luff and was predeceased by her 9 siblings.
Alice and her late husband had been residents of Dushore, PA for many years, having recently moved back to Bucks County to be with family in Sellersville. Alice was a devoted wife and mother. She made their home a warm and welcoming place. She formerly worked for General Motors in her earlier years, but her heart was in taking care of her family.
Family was most important to Alice. Her children and grandchildren brought a smile to her face and a twinkle in her eye. She will be sadly missed for her quiet ways, her sense of humor and her fantastic talents in the kitchen. Alice loved to cook for a crowd on holidays for friends and family. Her Christmas Open Houses were always open to all.
Alice is survived by her 2 daughters and their husbands; Cheryl Brooks and her husband Bob of Sellersville and Diane Wecker and her husband Kurt of Doylestown, also surviving are her 4 dear grandchildren; James Brooks, Heather Brooks Dalton and her husband Cassidy, Matthew and Morgan Wecker.
Services and Interment will be private.
