Albert E. Rubin

Albert Rubin of Doylestown and formerly of Philadelphia died peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.  He was 65.

Born in Philadelphia Al he was the son of the late Bertram and Eleanor Freedman Rubin.

Al worked for many years as the warehouse manager for Car Parts Distributors in Philadelphia before becoming a maintenance mechanic at Ann’s Choice in Warminster until his retirement.  Al enjoyed things that made him laugh. He had a good sense of humor, often with a little sarcasm. He was an avid Philadelphia Flyers and NASCAR fan, he enjoyed bowling with his friends, time at the New Jersey and Florida Beaches, trips to the Casino, He enjoyed things that made him laugh. He also enjoyed dining with friends and family, but above all, he cherished the times he spent with his daughter and with his grandchildren.  Al will be greatly missed, but eternally loved and remembered as a loving and devoted father, Pop pop, cousin and friend.

Al is survived by his loving and devoted daughter Jennifer Kiedaisch and her husband Patrick of Warrington.  He is also survived by his dear grandchildren Patrick and Jaina, his longtime friend Janet Rubin of Warminster, and his cousin Donna Freedman Gorenstein.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 from 11:00am to 12:30PM in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901 and to his graveside service at 1:00PM in Beulah Cemetery, 238 Almshouse Road New Britain, PA 18901.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Al’s memory may be made to Special Olympics, 2900 Southampton Road Philadelphia, PA 19154 or to a Children’s Hospital of your choosing.
