Mary Seyfried (Irace)

Mary Seyfried of Newtown, PA died peacefully of natural causes on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Chandler Hall in Newtown.  She was born on October 19, 1923 in New York City.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late Walter N. Seyfried and the loving mother of the late William F. Seyfried and she was the sister to the late Rose Caridi and Terry Fernald.

Mary spent most of her life residing in Woodside Queens New York where she raised her three children. She enjoyed spending many summers with her family and friends on the Great Sacandaga Lake in Upstate New York.

Mary spent countless hours tending to her garden where she enjoyed growing beautiful flowers, but she truly cherished the times she spent with her family especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed but eternally loved and remembered as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother.

Mary is survived by her loving and devoted daughters: Marie Christel and her husband Henry of Spring Hill, FL,  June Parodi and her husband Ron of Newtown, PA and daughter-in-law Mary Seyfried wife of the late William of Cape Coral , FL.  She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and one great great grandson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 1, 2020 in the Olde Church of St. Andrew, 131 Sycamore Street Newtown, PA 18940.  Her interment will take place at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 2, 2020 at Nassau Knolls Cemetery 500 Port Washington Boulevard Port Washington, NY 11050.
