Michael Gildea

Michael William Gildea of Newtown died suddenly at home on Tuesday, September 15, 2020. He was 58.

Michael was the beloved husband of 28 years to Kathleen O’Neill Gildea.

Born in Glens Falls, New York, Michael was the loving son of William J. and Elizabeth J. Shandoff Gildea.

Michael started his career as a Systems Analyst at AT&T. For several years he was an IT Consultant before joining Church and Dwight as a Project Manager in Ewing, New Jersey. He enjoyed sailing and golfing with friends; he had a passion for cars and loved traveling with his family. Michael will be greatly missed, but eternally remembered and loved as a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Kate, his son, Joshua whom he treasured. He is also survived by his parents, sisters: Stephanie Muggleworth and her husband Charles and Morgan Mahl and her husband Randy, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Services and interment for Michael will be private.
