Shannen Andreaus Selwyn Dowden

Shannen Andreaus Selwyn Dowden passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 13, 2020. He was 27.

Born in Bristol, PA, Shannen was the loving son of Selwyn George Russell and Wanda D. Armstrong Dowden.

Shannen was born in lower Bucks Hospital on 4/26/1993 in Bristol, Pa. He attended Council Rock High School and Bucks County Community College where he studied Psychology. He loved loud music, reading, journaling, writing poems, tubing, going to the beach, laughing, making jokes, playing dominoes and just being with his family and friends.

Shannen was a selfless person, who gave all his time to others and expected nothing in return. He could always be counted on to be there anytime, anyplace and anywhere. He was the kind of person everyone wanted to be around and have as a friend.

In addition to his parents, Shannen is survived by his Life Partner Marc Davis, loving brother Shayne Dowden, three sisters Faith Bowen, Siobhan Dowden,  Zakira Rahaman and three nieces Myah Bowen, Kali & Kori Reukauf and his best buddy and nephew Grayson Benjamin Reukauf.  He leaves behind countless relatives, friends, acquaintances.

Shannen’s services and interment will be held privately by the family.

A memorial ceremony and farewell will be held at The Dowden’s residence at 1165 Swamp Rd, Furlong. Pa. 18925 on September 26, 2020 from 2:00 – 7:00 PM.  Please be mindful of the Covid-19 restrictions.
