Matthew J. Rodriguez of Yardley, PA passed away suddenly on Monday, September 7, 2020 in Yardley, PA. He was 48.

Matt was the beloved husband of Renée Rodriguez.  They were just shy of their 15-year wedding anniversary.  He was also the doting father of Brody (13) and Theo (4) who were his pride and joy.

Matt enjoyed being active in community sports while coaching his oldest son’s teams in the YMS and PRBL organizations.  There was always music playing in their home.  His passion for music was shared by his family while they enjoyed singing and dancing together.  Matt's larger than life personality and smile will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who came to know him.

In addition to his wife, Matt is survived by his cherished children, Brody and Theo Rodriguez of Yardley, his father Julio Rodriguez and his wife Olga Zatsepina of New York, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Ray Bannon Jr. and Robin Bannon of Langhorne.  He is predeceased by his brothers Gregory and Ronald Rodriguez and survived by his brother Richard Rodriguez of New York and sister Anne-Marie Rodriguez de Killeen (Matt) and nephew Fox Hudson of London, and he was the "primo hermano" to Meliha Perez Halpern (Josh) and his Godson Jacob in addition to so many more family members including nieces and nephews.  Matt also had many great friendships he valued, especially his lifelong friend Edan Berman who he loved More Than Words.

A Gofundme was created by a family friend for Renée and their boys for their short/long term needs and anything they may need along the way.
