Jacqueline S. Paul (Scott)

Jacqueline Patience Scott Paul passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital on August 26, 2020 at the age of 82.

Jackie is lovingly remembered by children Penny Haff (Joe Palmiotti) and Scott Haff (Nancy) and her grandchildren Charles, Jesse and Alec Palmiotti, Hannah Edwards as well as Rosie Marasigan and Carter Humola. Lillian Mae Martin is her new great grandchild. She has one sister (deceased) Carol Palmer as well as one honorary sister Sarah Downing. She is also survived by additional loving family Linda, Dave and Harry Palmer in Arizona where she spent a happy portion of her life..

Jackie was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1937. She graduated from high school in Bexley Ohio. She went on to earn a degree from Rutgers University after attending Ohio State for 3 years. Over her life she worked as a bank manager, florist and receptionist at Pennswood Village in Langhorne Pa.

Jackie was a devoted mother and grandmother and her happiest moments were alongside her grandchildren. Traveling was her second love, taking many cruises and trips to Europe. She was ahead of her time, always involved in fighting for women’s rights and racial justice. She also enjoyed reading, current events and was a crossword wizard, tacking the Sunday crossword with ease. She loved Atlantic City and playing cards with everyone.

Due to Covid, there will be no formal funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to any of the three charities she held dear. They are as follows, NAMI- 505 Eighth Avenue, Suite 1103, New York, NY 10018-4541, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation-Bala Cynwyd, 225 City Ave., Suite 104, Bala Cynwyd , PA 19004 or BLM (Black Lives Matter) by visiting blacklivesmatter.com/. Condolences for the family may be offered online on this website.
