Fred Eutermoser

Fred Eutermoser of Souderton, PA, formerly of Doylestown, passed away suddenly on Monday, July 20, 2020. He was 77. He was the beloved husband of 57 years to Linda (Beck) Eutermoser.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Fred and Thelma (Tuckmantel) Eutermoser.

A graduate of Central Bucks H.S. class of 1961, Fred attended Pennsylvania State University from 1961-1963 and then finished at Drexel University earning a B.S. in Mechanical Industrial Engineering. He worked for twenty years in various positions including President for family-owned Olney Pipe Products of Trumbauersville.  After several years as a manufacturer representative and then a salesman for Sherwin Williams, Fred became a small independent contractor.

Fred was a lifelong member of New Britain Baptist Church where he was a youth leader, Sunday school teacher, Trustee, Chairman of Trustees, and Moderator. He loved life and enjoyed many activities with friends and family. Fred did not like to sit still; he was always participating in something. At age 35, he decided to try out for semi-pro football and played for a year. He played ice hockey until he was 65. At a local Scottish fair, Fred decided to try the games which led to him competing in the Highland Games across the Northeast for many years. In addition, he enjoyed hunting, tennis, softball, skiing, and constantly working on perfecting his golf game. He especially enjoyed cheering on his children and grandchildren at their sporting events and other activities. Fred loved gathering with friends and family and had a passion for hosting. He and Linda hosted creative theme parties for their many friends. Fred was very welcoming and was well-liked by all.

He was devoted father of Sheri O’Brien and husband Chris, Troy Eutermoser and wife Pamela, brother of Mark Eutermoser and wife Renay, loving grandfather of Melissa, Molly, Patrick, and Sarah O’Brien and Jessie, Troy, and Ally Eutermoser.

An outdoor socially-distanced memorial service for Fred will be held on August 7th at 10:30 am at the New Britain Baptist Church. The service will be live-streamed for those who are unable to attend.
