Mary T. Ambron (Whalen)

Mary T. Ambron of Philadelphia died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 6, 2020.  She was 81.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late Martin F. Ambron Sr. and was the loving mother of the late Colleen M. Ambron.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary McKeown Whalen.

Mary worked for many years with Chilton Company in their Magazine editing division.  She enjoyed crafting, baking, and cooking, but she loved and cherished the time she spent with her beloved family and close friends.  Mary will be greatly missed, but eternally loved and remembered by everyone who had the pleasure to have been in her life and loved by her.

Mary is survived by her devoted children: Martin F. Ambron Jr. and his wife Caron of Mobile, AL and Linda Mich and her husband William Mich Sr.  She is also survived by her six loving grandchildren: William Jr., Ryan, and Nicholas Mich, Christopher Ambron, Kara Carr, and Kylie Carr Gaston, four step great grandchildren, her brothers Robert (Angela), John(Linda), James (Linda), and Patrick (Patricia) Whalen and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services and interment for Mary will be private.
