Edgar J. "Butch" Ross

Edgar J. “Butch” Ross of Hilltown, PA, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, June 24, 2020. He was 81.

Butch was the beloved husband of 58 years to Gretta Cloman Ross.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Franklin and Elizabeth Dolan Ross.

The true outdoorsman, Butch loved his gardens and working in his yard. He loved family trips to the NJ shore. He also enjoyed being on the water on his boat. His greatest love was spending time with his family and his loyal dog, Buddy.

In addition to his wife Gretta, Butch is survived by his loving and devoted children, Lisa Seachrist and her husband Barry of Sellersville, Tracey Manero and her husband Chris of Hilltown and David Ross of Quakertown. He is also survived by his three sisters, Jean Heim, Peggy Maio, and Ann Gerstenbacher, eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Saturday, June 27, 2020 from 9:00am until the start of his Funeral Mass, 10:00am at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 100 Broad Street in Hilltown, PA 18928. His interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.
