Joseph Dean Little

Joseph Dean Little died Thursday, May 21, 2020. He was 22 years old.

His death is a sudden, tragic loss to his girlfriend Shannon Hill.

Born in Bristol, PA, Joe was the only son of Scott Little and Teresa (East) Little. He is the grandson of the late Howard and Joan East.

Joe was a kind, warm and loving person, and a great big brother. In addition to Shannon and his parents, Joe will be missed tremendously by his sisters, Jennifer Little, Kellie Little and Allyson Little; his grandparents Joseph and Ann Little; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Joe attended Maureen Welsh Grade School, Richboro Middle School and Council Rock South High School, and graduated in the class of 2016 from Neshaminy High School. He was known in both schools for his exceptional athletic ability, particularly in wrestling. He also participated on numerous baseball and football teams in Northampton, was a member of the CRWA Youth Wrestling Program for numerous years and was on the SEPA National Wrestling Team based in Levittown. He had the privilege of being surrounded by great teammates, great coaches and an entire community of friends.

After graduation, Joe became a sheet metal worker and proudly began working with his father in the family business. Joe was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and enjoyed Eagles games with friends and family. Most importantly, Joe loved spending time with Shannon, his parents and his sisters.

Joe’s family is appreciative of all of the community support they have received; they would like to extent a special “Thank you” to the St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem and the area EMT and firefighters who have helped the Little family.

Relatives and friends may greet Joe's family on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 10:00am, until the start of his memorial service at 11:00am, at Calvary Chapel at 13500 Philmont Avenue in Philadelphia, PA 19116.

Contributions may be made to Gift of Life, 401 N. 3rd St., Philadelphia, PA 19123.
