Daniel J. Parzych

Daniel Joseph “Dan” Parzych passed away suddenly on Friday, May 22, 2020, at the age of thirty-three. He was a devoted newlywed, loving son, protective older brother, proud godfather, and simply the best friend to anyone lucky enough to know him.

Dan was born October 6, 1986, in Greenwich, Connecticut. He attended Council Rock North and graduated from the University of Dayton. Dan built a professional and personal life around his passion for sports. He had the unique ability to translate the enthusiasm of a true Philly fan into informative and nuanced articles. He had endless movie trivia knowledge and questionable taste in music. A constant communicator, Dan kept everyone in his life up to date with current events and pictures of his dogs.

He is survived by his loving wife Alissa (Yardley, PA); parents Bill and Cindy (Richboro, PA); sister Christen (Nashville, TN); brother Michael (Washington, DC); in-laws Bill and Kathy Shulby (Jamison, PA); sister-in-law Devan Healy (Brian, Norwalk, CT); and brother-in-law John Shulby (Jamison, PA). In lieu of flowers and to honor Dan’s life the family asks that donations be made in his memory to the Daniel J. Parzych Memorial Fund, C/O Karen Crawford, First National Bank, Richboro Branch, 832 2nd Street Pike, Richboro, PA 18954.

Funeral services will be held privately on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at 1:00 PM. Due to the ongoing public health emergency, services will be limited to immediate family, howver a live webcast of his services will be available for all to participate in and viewable just below this online obituary.

He is remembered for his wit, humor, and unfailing devotion to his loving wife Alissa, family, and the friends that became family. He was a gentle man and a gentleman. We do not know how we will live in a world without Danny, but in the meantime, Go Birds!
