Dorothy M. Wladyka of Holland, PA died peacefully on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at Holy Redeemer Hospital in Meadowbrook, PA She was 91.

Born in Wildwood, New Jersey Dorothy was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband Michael Wladyka, she was daughter of the late Howard Braddock Thomas And Evelyn Barzilay Thomas and the sister of the late Howard Fitch Thomas, Arthur  Stanley Thomas, John Pershing Thomas, Horace Barzilay Thomas, William Augustus Thomas  and Evelyn Louise (Sue) Montgomery

Dorothy lived at and attended Scotland School in Chambersburg Pennsylvania
She excelled in many sports including field hockey, basketball and soccer. In High School she studied cosmetology.  She enjoyed sports such as swimming, water skiing, ice skating and bicycling and  She loved to dance.  She was a brownie and girl scout leader
She worked as a Bell Telephone Operator, Elmwood Answering Service, Berger Brothers and Sear's Roebuck Company.  Dorothy will be greatly missed by her loving and devoted family and close friends.

 

Surviving her are her children Dorothy Gallagher(Francis), Geri Price, Michael Wladyka (Carol), Debi Lafferty (Spanky), Cheryl Bernhardt (Markus).  She is also survived by her Grandchildren Fran Gallagher (Marla), Kevin Gallagher (Theresa), Kristine Watkins (Richard), Kelley Dickson (Michael)Michael Wladyka (Andraya) Brian Wladyka, Karleigh Bernhardt, and Courtney Bernhardt, her Great Grandchildren Franny, Jessica, Kevin, Charleigh, Olivia, Everly, Vivian, George, and Chase and her Great Great Granddaughter Helena  and Her Many nieces and nephews .

Funeral Services and Interment will be private.
