Barbara A. Rappo (McNutt)

Barbara A. Rappo of Warminster died Tuesday, January 28, 2020 surrounded by her family.  She was 81.

Born in Croydon, PA she was the beloved wife of James R. Rappo, Sr. for the past 62 years.

She was the daughter of the late William and Emma Vollenbroich McNutt and sister of the late Karen McNutt.

Barbara was a 1955 graduate of Delhaas High School in Bristol. For a few years she worked for the Bristol Courier. In1957 she started working for the Bristol Township School District as a secretary and stayed with them for 20 years.

Barbara was a devoted and dedicated Mom who along with her husband raised their 3 children and also adopted 2 children. Barbara was the best cheer leader a child could have, she attended all of their sporting events and could be heard cheering over everyone else. Barbara enjoyed reading, shopping, working in her garden and just being a Mom. She will be sadly missed and always in the Hearts of her family.

In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her children: James R. Rappo, Jr., and his wife Kathy, Susan Kinney and her husband Rick, and Rick Rappo and his wife Margaret, Kimberly Gulotta and her husband Peter, Jeffrey P. Rappo and his wife Tanya. Barbara was the proud grandmother of: Rick Rappo and his wife Melissa, Mike Rappo and his wife Julianna and Mark, Matt, Billy Rappo, Jarred Kinney and his wife Sara, Jason Kinney, Justin Kinney and his wife Sara, Jamie Bratton, Alexa Rappo, Janelle, James and  Xaiver Rappo and Nicole McCabe.

Barbara’s family will greet family and friends on Monday evening, February 3, 2020 from 6:00pm until her Prayer Service 7:30pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. Richboro.  Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN. 38105 or Juvenile Diabetes Foundation 555 Croton Rd. Suite III, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
