Barbara A. Howard (Duff)

 

Barbara A. Howard of Bensalem passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Juniper Village in Bensalem. She was 82.

Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Warren Howard.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Catharine Jann Duff.

Barbara was a former resident of the Somerton Community of Philadelphia for over 36 years before moving to Bensalem in 2003. She received her Under Graduate Degree in Elementary Education from Penn State University and received her Masters Degree in Education from Temple University. Barbara had a distinguished career as an educator with 35 years of faithful service with the Philadelphia School District retiring in 1999. In her leisure time she was a passionate Philadelphia Phillies fan and also a Penn State Football fan. Barbara was an avid reader throughout the years, an amazing cook and would often sew and make clothing for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by her family and by all who came to know and love her.

Barbara is survived by her children; Pamela Brown of Harrisburg, Craig Howard of Jenkintown, Paul Howard of Levittown and Lauren Fabiani of Feasterville. Barbara is also survived by her sister Marilyn Duff Bilella of Holland and her 5 grandchildren and her great grandchild.     

Services and interment for Barbara will be privately held by the family.
