Robert D. Back Jr.

Robert D. Back Jr., of Perkasie, PA, formerly of Quakertown, PA passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2019 after a long battle with cancer at Abington Hospice at Warminster.  He was 62 years old.

He was the high school sweetheart and loving husband of Denise Rockovits Back for 43 years.

Born in Doylestown, PA he was the son of the late Robert D. and Geraldine Jackson Back.

He graduated from Palisades High School, Kintnersville, class of 1975.  Bob founded South Main Tire/BBack Car Care, which he opened in 1984.

He was devoted to and loved his family tremendously and enjoyed spending time with them. Bob made many friends in his lifetime and he truly valued their friendship. He was always there to lend a helping hand and loved being a part of the community. Bob was passionate about all Philadelphia sports, but especially the EAGLES. Go Birds!

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Bobbie Hicks and her husband Kevin of Doylestown and Lindsey Anne Hufner and her husband, Gregory of Doylestown. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Elizabeth Hicks, Thomas Hicks and Reese Hufner.

His family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, November 18, 2019 from 5:00pm to 6:30pm in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Ave (at Sandy Ridge Rd) New Britain. His interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Abington Hospice at Warminster, 225 Newtown Road, Warminster, PA 18974. Please write “Robert Back Jr." on the checks in the memo line.
