Dolores Mae Cahall (Hackbart)
Dolores Mae Cahall of Delray Beach, FL went to be with her Lord on Thursday, October 24, 2019. She was 90.
Married more than 50 years, Dolores was the wife of the late Elwood Wesley Cahall. After Elwood passed in 2002, she again found friendship and love with Jim Tufano They were together for 10 years.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Rudy and Mabel (Blanchard) Hackbart. She attended Mastbaum Vocational High School.
Dolores spent much of her life in the Philadelphia area where she excelled in her career as an administrative assistant, retiring after many years of service from General Electric. Prior to G.E., she worked at Remington Rand, American Baptist Churches, Waterman Products and Philco.
She was an excellent cook and a woman of great faith who enjoyed Gospel Music and attended numerous Gospel concerts over the years. Most of all, she was devoted to her family who will miss her dearly.
Surviving are her daughter Judy Cahall-McClure (the late Rich), of Palm Harbor, FL; her grandchildren, Kevin A. McClure (Abby) and Andrew J. McClure (Katie); and her great-grandchildren, Brendan, Emma, Hunter, Will, David, Rebekah, Heidi, and Michael.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Berke and her brother, Jack Hackbart. She was blessed with several nieces and nephews, who she loved liked her own.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday, November 1, 2019 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Avenue, (at Sandy Ridge Road), New Britain, PA 18901. Dolores’ funeral service will begin promptly at 7:30 pm Friday evening. Everyone is welcomed. On Saturday, November 2, relatives and friends are again able to greet the family from 10:00 to 10:45 am. Closing remarks will precede the funeral procession to Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limeklin Pike, Ambler, PA 19002 for Dolores’ entombment.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to ELS Autism Foundation at 1370 Limestone Creek Road, Jupiter, FL, 33458.
