Lori Ann Leary (Skidmore)

Lori Ann Leary of Lansdale died peacefully on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. She was 62.

She was the beloved wife of 31 years to the late George J. Leary, Jr.

Born in Abington; she was the daughter of Joan A. Liberto Skidmore and the late William C. Skidmore, Sr.

Lori was a resident of Montgomery Township area for the past 30 years. She was a graduate of Wissahickon High School, class of 1975 and received her Associates degree from Montgomery County Community College.

Lori was the Chief executive officer and owner of George Allen Wastewater Management and George Allen Portables, Inc. for the past 25 years; this local, family operated business has served  Bucks and Montgomery counties for more than 40 years. They specialized in providing affordable services for residential and commercial septic systems and portable toilet rentals.

Lori and her late husband George, worked together for many years, they enjoyed the special times they spent on the beach or boating in Lavalette, N.J. with family and friends. They always had time available for a spur of the moment night of dining or planning a trip with good friends.

She will be sadly missed for her kind and caring manner.

Lori is survived by her 2 dear children; Shana A. Ford and her husband Jim Ford and Brendan M. Leary and his wife Mandy Leary. She is also survived by her brother William C. Skidmore, Jr., her sister Lisa A. Cross and her husband Stephen Cross and 5 dear grandchildren: Madelyn Ford, Blake Leary, Leah Ford, Kelsey Leary and Adam Ford.

Lori Ann’s family will receive condolences on Monday October 14, from 9:30 am until her Memorial Service 11:30 am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 241 E. Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain. Interment will be held privately.
