Michael Mudditt
Michael Mudditt of Jamison, PA passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Doylestown Hospital. He was 65.
Michael was the loving and devoted husband of Linda M. Mudditt.
Born in Sunderland, England he was the son of the late Maurice Mudditt and Joyce Smith Mudditt, of England.
Michael spent the first 35 years of his life in England where he finished his education and began his career as an electrical engineer in the defense industry in York, England with Normalair-Garrett. He later moved to the South of England where he continued his career with Plessey, working there also in the area of defense, submarine and naval applications. In 1989 an opportunity to work as a project manager on a defense project in the United States would bring him to the U.S. for a period of time and following the completion of that project he was offered a job with Intermetrics where he worked in Software Defense Contracting supporting Naval Air Development and working on Commercial Projects. His esteemed career would later find him starting his own Company, Thin Air Solutions. He spent the last 22 years as Vice President of Technical Services/CIO of Movers Specialty Service (MSS). As stated by Timothy P. Hughes, owner of MSS, “Mike was a friend, mentor, brilliant strategist, constant source of innovative ideas and key contributor to our company’s success.” Michael was truly passionate about anything having to do with technology so although his career kept him busy, his work was something he enjoyed doing day in and day out. In his spare time, he also enjoyed Photography and was quite talented at capturing special moments and his many travels on film. Michael enjoyed trips back to England where he would take time to visit with family and friends and he was a great lover of animals and will be dearly missed by his two Goldendoodles and Labradoodle, Sammy, Beau, and Murphy.
In addition to his wife and his mother, Michael leaves behind his children, Alison Mudditt of Florida, and Simon (Caro), Rhiannon, and Rhys Ling all of England and his adoring grandson, Thomas Ling.
