William T. “Billy” Aversa, 25, of Riegelsville, died suddenly in a fatal car crash on Sunday, August 11, 2019.
Born in Doylestown, PA, he was the son of Pegann Aversa of Riegelsville and his father Anthony Aversa of Warminster.
Billy grew up in Churchville, PA, before moving to Riegelsville where he attended Palisades High School. He played on the varsity football team and volunteered with the Riegelsville Fire Department. He then attended Bucks County Community College. Billy had just been accepted into LaSalle’s Nursing Program for this coming fall semester: he was beyond excited to move into the city and begin a profession for which he was truly passionate.
He loved fishing (even though he had little luck most of the time), shooting and hunting, snowboarding, spending time outdoors, working, and being a loyal and true friend, son, brother, and uncle. Billy was happiest while selflessly helping others and had the rare ability to make anyone smile and welcome them with open arms as family.
In addition in to his parents and step-father, Paul McBride of Riegelsville, he is survived by his brother Nick Aversa of Hatboro and his two sisters, Erica Aversa and her husband David Ross of Philadelphia and Paige Aversa of Riegelsville. He is also survived by his niece Remi Marie Ross, and his dog and best companion, Dutch.
His family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00 – 12:00 on Saturday, August 17, 2019 in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Ave. New Britain, PA 18901. His interment will be held privately at a later date.
