Ryan M. Homay

Ryan M. Homay, of New Britain passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at the age of 44 at Doylestown Hospital.

Ryan was born in Easton, PA and was the son of Cecelia Homay. Ryan worked at Vertical Screen, Inc. in Warminster.

In 2007, Ryan married Karen (Dostal) and they celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary in June. Ryan and Karen have a beautiful 4-year-old daughter Vivian. Ryan adored Vivian with his whole being and treasured their time together. A simple life as a family made him the happiest.  Ryan was always looking to create simple and lasting memories with his extended family. To him, nothing was more important. He had a natural way of making people laugh. And we are happier because of him.

In addition to his wife, daughter and mother, Ryan is also survived by his mother-in-law; Mary Dostal of Doylestown, grandmother-in-law Geraldine McGarity of Doylestown, sisters and brothers-in-law; Kelly Dostal Murphy and her husband Dale and their children Olivia and Finnegan of Elkins Park, and Jennifer Dostal Aptacy and her husband Kyle of Hatboro. We know Ryan will be remembered and missed by many other friends and family members.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Theresa Homay; his father in law; William M. Dostal, Jr.; and brother in law William M. Dostal, III.

His family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 9:00 AM until his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 235 East State St., Doylestown, PA 18901.  Ryan’s interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.

If so inclined, in lieu of flowers, contributions in Ryan’s memory may be made to the Vivian Homay Educational Fund, PO Box 655, Hatboro, PA 19040.
