Deborah Ruggeri (Carilli)

Deborah Carilli Ruggeri of North Wales, PA, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family at her home on Monday, July 15, 2019.

Deborah was fortunate to have shared 18 years of life, love, and happiness with her husband, Steven Ruggeri.

Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Benjamin S. and Mary Torre Carilli.

A graduate of Drexel University, Debbie led a long career in the Pharmaceutical Industry, professionally known as Deborah Steinmetz.  She spent 27 years with Merck as a Promotion Manager and eventually moved on to consulting work. Her career was something she took great pride in and Debbie also enjoyed travelling the world.  Most of all, Debbie treasured time with her husband and her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her husband, Debbie leaves behind her children, Christopher Alderfer and Alison Alderfer; and her brothers, Benjamin Carilli Jr. (Alida), Anthony Carilli (Caroline) and Robert Carilli (Holly) as well as countless extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday, July 20, 2019 from 9:30 AM until her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church, 1325 Upper State Rd., North Wales, PA 19454.  Her interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the CJD Foundation in support of those affected by Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease at  3634 W. Market Street, Suite 110, Akron, OH 44333.
