Joseph Michael Needham

Joseph Michael Needham of Collegeville died Thursday, June 20, 2019 at his residence. He was 63.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Jean A. Clancey Needham and was preceded in death by his father Joseph H. Needham and his brother Michael J. Needham.

Joe was a talented carpenter who worked for various firms throughout his career. He had worked at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard, Toll Brothers and J Clark Construction. In addition, he worked with Clarke Family Markets in Stone Harbor with their property management. In his leisure, he enjoyed quality times spent with family and friends.

In addition to his beloved mother Jean, Joe is survived by his brothers and sisters, John Needham and his wife Theresa of Warrington, Paul Needham and his wife Chris of Chalfont, Gerald Needham of Philadelphia, Susan M. Clark and her husband Jesse of Collegeville, Patrice Hyland of Collegeville  and Jean Anton her husband Joseph of Hilltown. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Monday, July 8, 2019 from 10:00am until his Funeral Mass 11:00am  in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 100 Broad Street, Hilltown, PA 18927. Joe’s interment will be privately held in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery in Langhorne.

 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of a donor’s choice.
