Leo V. Tonelli

Leo V. Tonelli of Richboro died Friday May 31, 2019 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. He was 76.

Leo was the beloved husband of 54 years to Joan T. Triebl Tonelli.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Vincent and Madeline Lanotto Tonelli.

Leo was a former resident of Philadelphia before moving to Richboro in 1980. He was the founder and owner of Tonelli Builders and Design in Richboro and he was also an estimator with Image One Industries in Bensalem.  Leo was a communicant of St. Bede the Venerable Church in Holland. He enjoyed buying & displaying his model cars, relaxing on his porch listening to Sinatra and reading the paper. Leo also had a great love for woodworking and drawing. He will be deeply missed by his family and by all who came to know him.

In addition to his beloved wife Joan, Leo is survived by his children; Gina Hengeveld and her husband Brian of Perkasie and Christian Tonelli and his wife Leigh of Wrightstown. Leo is also survived by his brother Vincent Tonelli of Bellmawr New Jersey, his sisters Linda DePinto of Marlton, NJ and Lisa DePascale of Philadelphia and his 5 cherished grandchildren Skylar, Jordan, Nico, Jake and Earl.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing from 10:30am until his Funeral Mass 11:30am on Friday, June 7, 2019 in St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road, Holland, PA 18966. Leo’s interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery in Newtown. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, 125 South Huntingdon Avenue, Boston, MA 02130.  (Please write check to the American Cancer Society and put Lodge on the memo line).
